After some careful consideration (and a few Google searches), I decided on calling them "Sausage Scallop Skewers". Yeah, it doesn't exactly roll off your tongue either but at least it makes sense in English!
With my newfound inspiration (or perhaps delusion?), I set out on an epic adventure involving skewering said ingredients onto wooden sticks while simultaneously hoping against hope that this wasn't going to end in disaster.

The verdict is still out on whether this dish will become a staple in our household but as far as taste goes... well let's just say there are worse things than eating sausage and scallops together!
